The implementation of the Marijampolė Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project has reached an important milestone, with construction works nearing completion.
All major project equipment has now been delivered to the site and installed, and the equipment interconnection works have been completed. The remaining construction and infrastructure works are currently being finalized, while preparations are underway for the next significant stage – equipment start-up and commissioning.
As the commissioning stage approaches, the project is entering one of the most important phases of its implementation. During this stage, the operation of the equipment and the interaction between the systems will be thoroughly tested, ensuring that the entire energy storage system is properly prepared for operation.
