NordBalance Among the First to Qualify 20 MW of DSO-Connected Wind for Balancing Services in Lithuania

NordBalance has qualified 20 MW of wind turbines connected to the ESO distribution grid to provide balancing services in Lithuania. The assets are aggregated within the NordBalance Virtual Power Plant (VPP), while more than 70 MW of DSO-connected wind has already been submitted to Litgrid for the same qualification process.

This shows that existing wind turbines, including smaller and older assets, can create additional value from their technical flexibility when they meet the required technical criteria.
