This week, “VE servisas”, a subsidiary of “Envestus holding”, together with one of the world’s leading battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturers, “HyperStrong”, is conducting operations and maintenance (O&M) training, enabling “VE servisas” employees to fix faults faster and more effectively.
Alongside the system commissioning and tuning work taking place this week at the Marijampolė hybrid project, the “VE servisas” team is participating in intensive BESS O&M training. The service staff is being trained by a professional team of “HyperStrong” engineers.
The main advantage of the training is that it takes place at a facility under the care of “Envestus holding”. “VE servisas” engineers are involved in the commissioning and tuning process itself using a hands-on approach. In this way, the team learns and works directly with the equipment they will later maintain in their daily operations.
Employees are expanding their competencies at two levels. The first level covers basic maintenance and daily operations, while the second grants the local team the authority and competence to perform complex technical service and repair work themselves. Thanks to this training, “VE servisas” employees can configure the battery management system and carry out full inspections of energy storage units in the BESS facilities under their care.
The training is taking place at a ~30 MW / 60 MWh battery system under construction in Marijampolė. Construction is being carried out by “Baltinova”, and the energy storage and PCS equipment are supplied by “NordBESS”.
